November 11, 2002 North Andover MA Hi Folks, I've begun my adventure traveling the countryside to promote the CD. My first stop brought me to N. Andover MA to visit with an old high school friend and his family. I went mountain biking for the first time and I must say I'm hooked. It was such a pleasant workout biking through fields, along power lines and over trails laid out in through the woods. It's such a nice way to enjoy nature and cause no havoc to her. Though I did crash once causing some havoc to myself. Fortunately, Bill has a hot tub to ease the pain caused by body meeting rock. Part of the bonus of this stop is that Bill is a piano player. So we worked accompaniments with the piano for some new songs I am working on. I hope to have Bill play with me on the next CD. Bill and I go back to the first grade, so there is a certain familiarity you get with a friend of that many years that is solid yet refreshing. We exchanged some interesting insights we have come to develop of our own life's philosophy. My next stop will take me to Bangor, another visit another high school friend who owns and runs a dairy farm.
