Leave A Pearl

Hello all,

I am still here in Nashville and happy to announce the release of my new CD titled "Leave A Pearl." Recorded here in Nashville with Wild Oats Records, I was fortunate to work with a great producer and some incredible musicians to bring the album together.

Steve Haggard is the head man at Wild Oats and produced the project. I am so fortunate to have met up with Steve. He has the natural ability to listen to a song and "hear" what it needs to bring it to life. It was his idea to bring in a flute and clarinet on the song "Leave A Pearl" and it adds a touch to the song that carries the listener along as the two insruments intermingle.

There's an old saying that a successful man surrounds himself with smarter people than himself. Steve has been here long enough to meet some extremely talented studio musicians. He brings them in, we discuss the feel of the song, and then he lets them go do to what they do best, take the song to another level. To watch these musicains learn my songs in five minutes, then begin recording, is just astounding to me. And to "hear" them do it with very little directon is magic. They capture the feel of the raw song and add their talents through their intruments, encompassing its essence to make it complete.

A review of "Leave A Pearl" in the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts' Beacon said, "(Adzima's) music captures the rhyme and reason of poetry while managing to encompass an even more important characteristic, the bare emotion behind thoughtful words." The article goes on to say, "This folk singer's most notable accomplishment is his ability to create a whole new, unique sound....strong guitar, fiddle, mandolin, keyboard and other accessories surround Adzima in an original sound that is helping him hit the road with critical acclaim."

I hope that you who come to hear "Leave A Pearl" find something in it that you can call your own and I hope it brings you some enjoyment.

Sincerely, Peter
